about

This album was created for binaural listening over headphones.

How it was made:

1) An electric guitar is processed through SuperCollider

2) A single track of outdoor ambiance is also added to the mix, very softly

3) These signals are then sent to multiple points in an ambisonic space

4) The phase of the various ambisonic channels are then randomly and slowly inverted back and forth over the duration of the track

5) This is rendered into binaural sound and steps 3,4, and 5 are repeated several more times...

6) Render into binaural sound, one more time

Now, put your headphones on, relax, and listen
